Composer Spotlight: Michael Boyman

Michael Boyman's Double Concerto for Two Horns and Wind Ensemble is a celebration of idiomatic writing for the horn, from its legacy of heroic fanfares to beautiful chorale writing and sends up its hunting horn past with a cheeky look at the darker side of the woods. It receives its world premiere performance on March 6 and 7!

Sara Dudley is a violist from a musical family with a wide variety of musical experiences under her belt. Read more about Sara's musical journey and come hear her perform the Walton Viola Concerto at 8pm on Saturday, January 25th, at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music!
