October's concert series at the DiMenna Center opens with Athena Adamopoulos's Passage, a moving piece about the Syrian refugee crisis. Christine Todd is our featured soloist on Claude Debussy's Première rhapsodie for Clarinet & Orchestra on Friday and Emily DiAngelo performs Jean Françaix's L'horloge de Flore with the orchestra on Saturday. Both concerts conclude with Mahler's Fourth Symphony featuring soprano Cree Carrico.

Emily DiAngelo played with The Chelsea Symphony from 2007-2012 and is thrilled to be returning this year as a soloist. She is currently on the oboe faculty at Cornell University, Hamilton College, and the Luzerne Music Center, and is a candidate for the Doctor Of Musical Arts degree at Manhattan School of Music. Clarinetist Christine Todd began performing with The Chelsea Symphony in 2008. A CPA, Christine holds an MBA from Columbia University and BA/BS degrees in German and accounting from Binghamton University. Mark Seto leads a wide-ranging musical life as a conductor, scholar, teacher, and violinist. He is Artistic Director and Conductor of The Chelsea Symphony in New York City, and Senior Lecturer in Music at Brown University, where he directs the Brown University Orchestra and teaches courses in music history, theory, and conducting.
