Christine Todd

Christine Todd began performing with The Chelsea Symphony in 2008 and joined the board in 2010. Christine is an accountant and clarinetist – the former professionally and the latter for a love for music that developed when she began playing the clarinet in childhood, in upstate New York. A CPA, Christine holds an MBA from Columbia University and graduated with honors from Binghamton University with dual B.A./B.S. degrees in German and accounting. At Binghamton, Christine was principal clarinetist of the university orchestra as well as an active performer of chamber music and a solo recitalist. Since completing her studies and pursuing her professional career in New York (she is Vice President and CFO of The Juilliard School, responsible for overseeing the school's financial operations), Christine has performed with many area musical organizations in addition to The Chelsea Symphony, including the New York Repertory Orchestra, American Chamber Opera Company, Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, Musica Bella Orchestra, and the Gotham Winds, a wind quintet. Her clarinet teachers include Robin Seletsky, Tim Perry, Allen Blustine, and Jon Manasse.
