Veronica Carpenter
Violinist Veronica Carpenter is an impassioned performer and music educator based in New York City. Throughout her career, she has performed with groups such as the Flagstaff Symphony and the Phoenix Symphony and has shared the stage with many musical greats including Andrea Bocelli, Rachel Barton Pine, and Chris Thile. In 2018, her sextet curated a full-length recital at the Boston Sculptors Gallery, performing the Frank Bridge sextet and Schoenberg’s Verklaerte Nacht. She has collaborated with composers to commission pieces for both solo violin and string quartet and formed an Irish band that toured throughout Boston. Veronica is also a devoted educator with the Harmony Program, serving as a faculty mentor, chamber coach, and private instructor for students of underserved communities. Her goal is to create more accessibility to music education and to forge deeper connections through the enjoyment and understanding of music.
Veronica currently serves as concertmaster for the Regina Opera Company and the Centre Symphony and actively performs with the Chelsea Symphony and New Amsterdam Opera Company, as well as several other community orchestras in the New York area. She received her Bachelor of Music from Northern Arizona University in her home state and received a Masters in the same field from the Boston Conservatory under the tutelage of Katie Lansdale.
