Rachel Seiden is an oboist living and working in New York. She studied at Ithaca College, receiving her Bachelors in Music in oboe performance where she studied with Dr. Paige Morgan. Upon graduation from Ithaca, Rachel continued her studies at Stony Brook University, pursuing a Masters of Music under the tutelage of Pedro Diaz, solo English horn of the Metropolitan Opera.

Making the shift to arts administration following completion of her Masters, Rachel worked at Alliance Artist Management where she handled logistics for performances and tours of chamber groups including Sō Percussion, Imani Winds, and the Calder Quartet. Currently, Rachel works in Creative operations at the advertising agency DDB New York.
