Phong is grateful to be returning this season as a soloist with The Chelsea Symphony in Oliver Davis’ Flight – Concerto for Violin and Strings.

As an undergraduate student at Lehigh University studying molecular biology, he was awarded the Baker Gifted Arts Scholarship for violin performance. After college he pursued a career in dentistry and anesthesiology where he continued to nurture his musical interests by freelancing with orchestras in the greater Philadelphia and Baltimore areas. In addition to being a member of The Chelsea Symphony, he is proud to serve as concertmaster for QUO: The Queer Urban Orchestra, New York City's LGBT orchestra.

As a dentist anesthesiologist Phong maintains a unique niche in the dental world by providing all levels of anesthesia care for dentists and their patients throughout New York. Outside of music and healthcare, Phong and his husband, Joe, love traveling the world.
