Molly Fletcher
Molly Fletcher is a violinist and fashion model. Her unique and active career has centered her in both the music and fashion realms. Her collaborations with renowned artists cross boundaries in the classical, hip-hop/pop, and rock worlds. Molly recently debuted Clean Bandit’s album “What is Love” in Kyoto, Japan on their record release tour in Asia. She’s appeared as a guest artist on BBC 1 radio, with Paul Simon at the Beacon Theatre, on Jimmy Fallon, and at Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. A collaborative session musician, her Beethoven Romance in F-Major was featured in the film Long Nights Short Mornings and she’s currently scoring her first independent feature film. Her debut EP, Rêverie, was released this year and features her original compositions for violin, available online. Molly has graced the runways for NYFW, Project Runway, and appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, and Allure magazines, to name a few. She was featured as a violinist in the Maybelline “Make It Happen” campaign alongside Adriana Lima and performed on the runway for Laurel Dewitt & Greg Lauren.
Graduating from New York University with a dual-degree in music performance and psychology, Molly began playing the violin at the age of five in Dallas under Paul Landefeld, and later studied with Jan Sloman and Emanuel Borok of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. At NYU, she studied with Anton Miller. She has spent summers at music festivals around the country including the Meadowmount School, the Encore School for Strings, Heifetz International Music Institute, and the Academy of Music Festival. Her orchestral credits include Orchestra of St. Luke’s, concertmaster of NYU Orchestras, The Chelsea Symphony, and has worked with The Knights and Time for Three.
