Horacio Fernández
In the vibrant tapestry of contemporary Latin music, Horacio Fernández shines as a visionary Mexican composer and producer. He is not bound by genre or style, being able to produce fiery Latin Trap tracks such as “FLARE”, as well as soothing orchestral ballads like his latest single “Rebeldes”, a sweet bolero reminiscent of the great American Songbook and classic Mexican romantic classics.
His groundbreaking contributions to the classical music canon such as his Latin suite for orchestra “Tumbao” and “Cumbia Concerto”, his first major concerto, have been performed by leading artists such as Zlatomir Fung, the Juilliard Orchestra, Tengku Irfan, Tony Glausi, Mar Vilaseca, Kevin Zhu, Bryan Davis, David Allan Miller, The Albany Symphony, the Oregon Symphony, William Leathers, Lucia Gutierrez among many others. His seamless integration of dance music from Latin America into orchestral compositions has carved a distinctive niche in the global music landscape.
He is a native of Puebla, Mexico but moved to New York in 2018 to study at the Juilliard School where he has deepened his understanding and experience within the music industry and developed his craft by collaborating with top young performers of the Jazz, Classical and urban scenes.
His music is available for streaming on all major platforms, along with his creative music videos. His colorful merch and sheet music can be purchased through his official website: horaciofernandezcomposer.com
