Fred Chu is a New York City based cellist. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied under Marion Feldman.

Past accolades include winning the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Competition, the NYU String/Composer Collaboration Project, and as a finalist in the Bergen Philharmonic Concerto Competition.

Outside of music, Fred holds a J.D., cum laude, from St. John's University School of Law. He currently continues his cello studies under the guidance of Daniel Gaisford
