Danny Gray is an internationally awarded composer of film, television, multimedia and concert music.

He has composed music for over 600 episodes of television airing on ABC, NBC, History Channel, National Geographic, and Investigation Discovery. Credits include "Dateline," "20/20," "NY Med," "American Pickers," and "On the Case with Paula Zahn." Narrative and documentary film credits include One Penny (dir. Michael DeVita), My Day (dir. Paul Kelly), and the hit YouTube comedy short Hell No (dir. Joe Nicolosi). His film scores have been heard at South by Southwest, FanTasia, the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, and various other festivals worldwide. Danny currently serves as the Administrator for the Society of Composers & Lyricists in New York and enjoys being part of the vibrant local film scoring community.

Danny received the Manhattan Choral Ensemble's "New Music for New York" award in 2015 for his composition Evening Over My City. His choral setting of poetry by Robert Louis Stevenson, Under the Night Sky, was awarded a world premiere and commercial recording in 2014 by the Australian Boys Choir in celebration of their 75th anniversary.

He has written incidental music for two world premiere theatrical productions by The Theatre Project in New York City, composed an original ballet score for Illuminations Dance Company, and participated as a composer in the RIPFEST Collaborative Film Project.

Danny holds a B.M. in Composition from Purchase College Conservatory of Music. He has studied film scoring at NYU and USC, and was a participant in the NYU/ASCAP Buddy Baker Film Scoring Workshop.
