Join The Chelsea Symphony for the opening series of our eleventh season, "Flight Paths," featuring music written by composers who have visited or immigrated to the United States of America. This season celebrates the diversity of musicians who have been inspired by, and made their mark on, this land we call home. The September concert begins with selections from Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Zhou Long's Chinese Folk Songs. Rachel Seiden makes her TCS solo debut on Richard Strauss's oboe concerto on Friday and Saturday's concert welcomes back Erich Schoen-René as soloist on Elgar's cello concerto. Both performances close with Tchaikovsky's magnificent Symphony No. 4.

Conducted by Reuben Blundell and Matthew Aubin
